Front door panel - Inside

I need to change the speakers on my SL1 (96- 150K miles - still going) - how do I get the inside door panel off? Any guidance?

On most models VERY EASY, use a small screwdriver to remove
the speaker grill, the speaker can be replaced thru the opening.

OTHERWISE, you remove the OUTSIDE of the door to access inner
panel, not all that hard, but a little time consuming.

You might want to stop at a car stereo place, they probably have a stereo installation guide that will give the specifics on your car.

Better yet, they might install the speakers for free, if you buy the speakers from them.

2 years is bad,
After a couple of months I dont think it should be pulled unless you have the same question, especially since the guy reposted four days later 2 years ago and got answered, with the same answers that were given here, I dont see how he searched and found that post without finding the other, unless he searched for threads with no responses

:Sigh: I'd rather see a new thread (with someones problem) than a two year old one thats been discussed several times after that...I dont think this thread is really helping anyone,

What we REALLY need is some type of Mod around here. Maybe AF would let one of us common'ers be a mod. That way, for stuff like this, we can Sticky it. Examples of topics we could sticky for newbies:

Door removal
Throtle Body boring
Easy HP mods
