sorry, I have seen good deals where the car has well over 100k miles, but the engine has been rebuilt. These seem like good deals, but are they really? It still means the tranny is old right?

unless otherwise specified I'd assume that yes the tranny is still old, the synchros on the car are somthin' to watch out for, but also these cars have very strong engines, if you find a nice one, make sure the mileage isn't around 60K, or 120K, because that's when u have to do the routine 60K tune up which can usually cost about another 800+ dollars...
