This was like the only 3000gt I could afford, and it only had 12k miles on the engine!!!!

I am so mad / sad

Do you think it is possible to find a 1994 3000gt SL with around 70k miles for about $4000-5500 ? If not, how much would be a good goal to get a car with those specs?

Thank you

Re: Is this car a good deal?

I think a 94SL with those miles would be a little more in the 7 or 8 grand price range, but go to www.kbb.com to get the kelly blue book value of the car.... sorry to hear that it got sold, good luck in finding your car!

it's possible, check autotrader...here is a 94 SL...but doesn't list the miles.

Bad news for me... I called the guy and it has 162k miles on it. This is alot more than my parents and I want for my first car. I really hope I can find a lower milage one

Re: Is this car a good deal?

are you hooked on the second gen styling? If so then thats fine but I'd bet there are some first generation 3000gts nearby with a low price and the mileage your looking for.

Re: Is this car a good deal?

Not to thread jack but look at some of the prices on the VR4s around here.

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/search...3209&x=53&y=16

freakin insane.

The VR4 with 18k miles on it for 42k.......... I'd buy a freakin brand new Lotus Elise and live it up.

Thanks for the encouragement. I was really feeling hopless b/c all the 3000gts with about 70k miles are listed at 7.5-8k. I still have until july when I get my license and I need a car before school in august, so I am starting to search early to find a good deal.

Re: Is this car a good deal?

Not to burst your bubble buvelianhappard....but I bought my '94 SL last summer with about 67k miles on it for $10k after taxes and registration. But then again, I'm in CA so hopefully it'll be cheaper for you.... Good luck!

Re: Is this car a good deal?

Yeah i got mine with 94k for $6k..so you might have to make some comprimises if you really want a 3kgt by the summer. But you may get lucky. I searched for a good 3 months before i finally bought mine.
