No Dice. I looked into the VK and 1UZ and it came out to - the engines would go in about the same work as an RB but getting some sort of manual on them would cost about 1000$ excluding transmissions and I dont really consider that cost efficent in my situation. I'm kinda looking at a 13B but I think the most likely situation is that the current SR will get a OE bottom end rebuild, Apex-i Head Gasket, and then maybe some Toda Cams. the motor is about as close to perfect as a 15yr old motor gets after three weeks of driving I didnt even have enough blow-by to turn my breather hose brown. and I'm not looking for big power on my car anyway. I prolly wont bother with anything bigger than a S15 T28


P.S. all you people wanting SRs might wanna look in to the 1UZ-FE, for about the same money as a 240WHP SR you could have a 260+WHP V-8

im w/ u RW i have the worst luck w/ cars. my Ka tranny which was auto did the craziest shit it was wack i cant even describe what it did. and i have had nothing but problems w/ my sr. but hopefully i get it all worked out this summer when i start making money to get it fixed
