Re: [Lamborghini Murcielago v Mitsubishi Evoloution VIII MR]

I am not sure but I think MR's tight turning circle is what contributes to its great handling.
I have an MR and I do not complain about the ride but as I drooled for this car before and now I do have it...I want that FQ400 instead...lol.

I do agree I won't go 30mph on 6th (its stupid). But I think he wants to show that MR at 6th on 30mph due to turbo lag, the turbo actually does not kick in. Now it comes down to a 1.6L at top gear and a 2.0L at top gear. You would think the 2.0L would win but remember the gears and clutch are different now not to mention the large turbo for the MR FQ400. A 2.0 liter w/o turbo kicking in does not have enough power to pump up its 6th gear. Not everything is covered for this car. Probably twin turbo will help, one for low end and one for high end. LOL

You'd cruise around in 6th gear to save gas (4 mpg around the track? That's as bad or worse than the Lambo) And flooring it for just a moment didn't do anything; so, if you want to accelerate without shifting down, you're S.O.L.

There's a tradeoff between practicality and performance; the Evo is just a bit over the line heading for performance.

I'd still take the Evo over the Lambo. The pro driver spun out, and the host could drift with one finger and keeping up with the Lambo easily.

And this just seems appropriate in reference to the Evo... "Don't worry head, the computer will do our thinking now!" -Homer Simpson
