oh, you where just using resin? lol...you have to use something for the resin to bond to otherwise it just breaks REALLY easy....
anyway, sanding it with a rough grit just gives the glass pores/grooves to hold on to...

I tried it with mat too but I can basically like peel the mat off after it has dried.

you wont be "peeling" mat....even one layre of mat will be too stif to peal, you could maybe pop it off or chip it....
i still dont understand what you are trying to do... i thought yo uwhere going to use your doors as a mold to make a custom panel...
