Re: Destroyed a Mustang GT

Excuse me? I don't recall using the word 'fag'.

Chexmixa..$20 for gas? Come on. That ain't worth a shit to me. Arizona is a longgg drive from Baltimore, MD. If you pay for gas, time, hotel rooms, andd race me for money then we'll talk. But until then no thank you. If I go on any mystical racing journeys it'll be to Colorado? I think. To race Mr guess who.

Edit: $20 is four gallons of gas.

Yes, Mustangs DO get 574mpg.

Lol down here in AZ 20 bux will get you 8 gallons of 87 octane. I would be down to at least pay for all of your gas but Prom + a few other mishaps kind of dwindled my money supply. I am sure you can attest to GF's being a lil on the expensive side.

Edit Jesus 2300 miles? 35 hours? I bet i could do it in 24 hours.

Re: Destroyed a Mustang GT

My girlfriend isn't very expensive at all. I usually have to beg her to let me pay for things. She's like "but you gotta save money so you can get your supercharger on.." Did I mention I'm going to marry her?

Lol mine = "hey i'm hungry did you wanna go to ra?" (RA = expensive ass trendy sushi place)

"why do you need a stage 1 on your car? its allready fast why do u need to make it faster?"

"hey for prom lets rent an expensive ass hotel go to the most expensive Restaurant in phoenix, along with pitching in on renting a party bus."

I had a fat wad of cash saved up for Stage 1, 3 inch DP, 3inch borla exhaust and high flow cat. Prom anihilated that.

Yet she has no prob spending 140 bux on a gd purse. But hey, the good DEF out ways in the bad. So i plan on keeping her around for a while. At least she likes to be in the car while i race. Thats a def +.

Re: Destroyed a Mustang GT

whoa. that sucks dude. prom costed me like $180. That included my tux, prom ticket, and ride in the limo. A fat wad of cash for stage 1? Stage 1 is like $899. If you're spending over $1,000 on prom I seriously think you need a new girlfriend. Prom is neat and all..but god damn.

Re: Destroyed a Mustang GT

I try to refrain from using insinuations of homosexuality as something derrogative. Doing so should be treated the same as if someone were to use the 'n word'. And yeah, my fault chexmixa..I thought stage 1 was more expensive.

NP i don't expect you to be the price guru for a car you don't even own. The mods for the Srt-4 are alot cheaper then you would expect them to be. 5k for daily driveable 12s 1/4 is pretty inexpensive if you ask me. I know you can spend less on other cars and get into the 10s. But do those cars still have thier warrenties? (yes i actually found a dodge dealer in AZ that will cover a Stage 3 Srt-4)

Ok little tough guy, u think I tell the truth about what I own and run in "real life"? How would reading your threads help me believe anything you say, when you just said you're lying about your times? You don't know that you have anything that could run with me, same as me to you, so lets all lie on here till one of us lies best....

Re: Destroyed a Mustang GT

Alright...

First off, we all know that street racing has it's risks. We all do it from time to time.

If you race a guy, and you get busted. Take it like a man. If you race a guy, and he gets busted, count your lucky stars.

If you act like a fool and try to get a guy to race you, and you get busted. Well, you knew the risks.

If you take off faster than normal, as in this case. And the guy wants to race. And he gets busted. That's his fault for not checking his surroundings, or his friends fault in the car for not keeping an eye out. But ultimately it is his fault.

The thread starter did nothing wrong, had he did something wrong. He would of been pulled over. Obviously the Mustang driver was too caught up in the moment to realise there was a cop right behind him.

His fault.

If you were driving along, out looking for a race. And somebody looked like they were up for a race. And they took off kinda fast to see if you'd bite. And you took off after them... and you got nabbed by a Cop. Who's fault is it? Yours, you're the one who 'raced'.

Other guy just took off. People take off from lights all the time faster than everybody else. As long as you don't exceed the speed or chirp a tire. You can take off as fast as you want. Otherwise you're speeding or exhibition of speed/display of power which are crimes.

Habibus said he got to 45mph in a 40mph zone. Most cops won't bat an eyelash at that. 5 over ain't nothing. Only time you might get introuble for that is in a residential/school zone. Mostly a school zone.

If you're already going 40-45mph. And you take off like the Mustang driver did and go up to 50-60mph. Then that could be considered 'display of power/exhibition of speed' and plain old 'racing'. His fault. His ticket.

Stop crying about it and calling him an asshole. Nobody forced the Mustang driver to do it. Nobody forces any of us to race, we just do it. If we get caught, what do you say? "That guy made me race... cause... he took off from the line kinda fast..." Please.

If anything, take this thread... and learn from it. Learn to be aware of whats around you. It won't just save you a ticket, but maybe a life.

Stay Safe People.

P.S. Dampachi, statements like "You don't have anything that will run with me." Are stupid. I could say the same thing to you. I could say the same thing to everybody in this forum. Is it true? No, there are probably 10 members that frequent this forum on a regular basis that could hand me my ass.

You've got a stock Mustang GT... My dad has one. I've driven it. It's not all that great. Nice and comfy? oh yes, sound good? sure does, fast? Pretty Fast. Is it unbeatable? Hell No.

Stop acting like your shit doesn't stink. I've grown tired of you posting around like your stock Mustang is King. I don't mind Mustang owners, most of them are pretty cool... but you're starting to itch on me with your "Mustang takes all" attitude.
