Destroyed a Mustang GT

Ok, so Im cruising around in my Bonne on "the strip" with 2 friends in my car. One of my friends lives right on it so we left his house to goto Sonic to get some slushes. The entire time we are passing cars and my friend in the passenger seat is chomping at the bit because his Evo is in the shop getting his clutch replaced (burnt it up at the track last weekend, it was stock and couldn't handle his 350WHP). Anyways, we pull up to a red light, im in the left lane, and there is a 2000 Mustang GT in the middle lane to my right. He has his hat on backwards, bumping some music, and has a bunch of friends in it with him. My copilot looks over and looks back at me and says "take off a bit, dont go all out but just enough to get his attention". So the light turns green, I pull out and get on it just a bit, enough so that my supercharger starts to whine, and then the Mustang occupants look over to see what it was, and the GT passenger points over and says something like "Oh man look at him" as I pass them up, I get up to 45 (speed limit is 40) and shut down..

Like I said, I wasn't running him, just enough to get his attention to see if he would bite. Then the Mustang gets up besides me again, and pulls into the far right lane, as there was a car in front of him. Then he looks over at me, downshifts, drops his assend down and takes off. It sounded like he had at least exhaust. He prolly went to about 55-60, then slowed down again I guess waiting for me. Thats when the Cop car that was behind me the entire time turns on his lights, and pulls out to the right lane, and pulls over the Mustang.

I didn't see the cop (radar detector wasn't going off, and my autodimmer mirror makes it hard to tell what kind of cars are behind me), but my passenger did, and knew that the Mustang would bite, and bite hard. It was some fun stuff. Anyone with any brains would know that this place is crawling with cops on saturday night, and to not go to crazy with it. I wonder what the ticket cost was. Well, our turn was coming up about half a block ahead, so we pulled into Sonic, ordered our slushes, and watched the flashing cop lights from our previous encounter. He was sitting there for a good 20 minutes before he got done. This was the first time for me cruising the local strip, as I had been working nights on Saturdays, and my schedule just changed. Turns out my friend in the Evo who lives on that road does this all the time, gets people to play, when he knows there is a cop nearbye, to get them tickets. He has made somewhat of a sport about it. Cant wait to get my VS cam installed and supporting mods.. 13s here I come (Hopefully 13.5 or so)

Cliff notes:
Mustang GT trys to act too cool, and doesn't pay attention to his surroundings.

I bet you feel real good about yourself... I guess you are a little self centered as your Slow Piece of sh** car could not even pass a Mustang GT standing still let alone win in a race.

But hey what ever floats your boat... If was me you suckered, I would of taken my ticket then hunted you down and whooped your A#@, "just for the sport of it..."

Hey, I didnt make him get on his car at all. All I did was accelerate to 5 mph over the speed limit, I didnt look over until he changed lanes and tried to act all cool. Then he got pulled over. I didnt even go 1/2 throttle, this guy was looking for a race and looking to get a ticket. I mean cm'on what kind of idiot races on a street that has over 20 cops in a 4 mile radius? Are you pissed because it was a mustang or something? And my car can more than hold it's own against one, so don't even try going there pal.

No I am not pissed because it was a Mustang, I just don't like smart ass punks like yourself, who take joy in the misery of others... Just ask yourself how you would feel if the shoe was on the other foot...

That is soooo cruel. I would be pissed if someone did that to me. I was racing someone on the FL turnpike and I got spotted by a helicopter. It said it on my ticket. And that pissed me off majorly. But the other guy was racing too so we both got pulled over. That's more or less considered part of the risk you take.

So fucking what? You mean you never ride around with a friend or two and just chill and mess around? Probably not. You probably don't have any friends cuz' no one wants to associated with people like you. That guy was just trying to have a good time and thought you wanted to mess around, too. Now if he was laughing at you..or starting shit with you..I may have been able to lean to your side. But, technically..you singled him out and started shit with him. You're in a street racing forum, so I assume you street race..so doesn't it hurt you the least bit to see someone who somewhat shares your shame passions being caught by the law? Shit, you actually helped a cop pull over your own kind. Great fucking job. Everytime I see a car get on it some..and then get pulled over..I feel bad for em'. If anything I woulda told that dude about the cop and let him not it wasn't safe to accelerate. Man you and your friend fucking fail at life.
