Re: Ricer with an EVO

lickem
Let me clarify, it ain't bull.....
a.) Silver 03 Corvette, I just got about 1 foot in front. Not Z06 or Z51.
b.) Black 03 Corvette, not a kill but he could not leave me on a slightly heavy traffic, two lane highway doing an average of 90 to 130mph for about 7-9 miles. I admit he could kill be at 150mph.

A.) We I was driving bout 60 mph..MPH and not KPH. And we could have probably gone at it at 80mph for like a ½ mile I was not sure of the final speed. I came form behind and over took him. On that stretch I was able to get about a foot ahead and still gaining more. It was not much but I was ahead. I had to slam on my brakes, swerve across 2 lanes to take my exit.

B.) 130 MPH SLIGHLY heavy traffic. There were cars and we had to go around them like a slalom course. I was on my way to work and a co-worker on the same highway saw me and said that he was just waiting for a huge explosion right ahead and that I was crazy going after the Corvette. Note: Not constant 130 now, which was the top speed. Average would say about 90-120 and sometimes as slow as 80 depending on the group of cars on the road for 7-9 miles. I bet, but we never got to that speed, that he would leave me at 150MPH as my car tops at 155MPH. Vetts hit 170MPH

Re: Ricer with an EVO

Hahahaha, funny story. But I know exactly where you're coming from. Some of the Lancers with Evo bodykits are very deceiving...however, drum brakes in the rear. That's what always kills them.

Having said that, there is some 2 door lancer running around...east coast of Aus I think...with the plates "MRLNCR"...It's a Lancer MR (as in the coupe lancer) with an Evo4 engine and drivetrain conversion. Sounds pretty cool since it pretty much equates to an Evo coupe.

But yeah, my friend gets ricers in lancers trying to race him in his 12.3 second Supra TT all the time...why?...who knows.
