hey i have a 99 626 V6 would an RX-7 motor be a good swap and is it possible?

the main issues would be space because i dont know how to fit a 3 rotor engine in the space of a v6, you may be able to idk, and you would have to relocate the alternator and starter, and find a transmisson that would work (that is fwd and can hold the 20b's power).

thats all i can think of.

me and my pops were talking and we were talking about droping a honda h22 motor in there and put a turbo it will then make the car from 4000 and drop it down to the low 3000, because the motor weighs so much would this be possible and how much would it cost for the whole nine yards, and thanks for helping me everywhere else i go i get ignored

do urself a favor and nuy a cheap ass rx and start from there, u could get one for like a 1000 just to start with. and it will outhandle a 626 by farrrrrrrrrrr.

with money, yeah i mean there are awd and mr civics running around so i guess its feasible. but i personally think the 20b does better duty in a rwd vehicle.

the 20b was a three-rotor engine, used only in the unos cosmo... full size 4 door sedan, never imported to the states for sales, about 9000 20b's were put into them. 2.0L (approx) displacement 285hp, twin turbo... they're sold for 2k$ ++ and needs a rebuilt, wich is 150% the price of a 13b rebuilt, and need custom fab to be fitted in a 13b car, and some shop do the job for 30k$ garanteeing you 500 whp

youre acting as though there was never a fwd rotary car made. btw the name is Eunos Cosmo and it is a 2 door car. 20b's arent really rare
