creeking

hey, there is this annoying noise comming from my dashboard whenever i go over a bump or dip in the road. it isnt a normal noise, it osunds like plastic tapping on plastic sort of. i am almsot positive it is comming from the defroster vents under the windshield, but i dont know how to get them off to check if the black plastic vent tunnel is loose? anyone know off hand? i havent got a haynes manual yet, otherwise i would look myself. :grey:

all i know is that ur gonna have to start from the center console and work up to the dash if its anything like my 95. gonna take at least half a day, but the manual will really help. thats half the problem , finding the screws to take out

Without a manual, it's almost undoable. You can also go to ur dealer and ask them what it could be. Maybe he could tell u what it is without undo the dash if he already seen a problem like this.
