Re: wich motor?
I've been on the bandwagon since september. Shit Tat has been on since april 03 and for 30K. Seems like a pretty reliable bandwagon to me. We need a separate KA section.

Re: wich motor?
for real....i dont get where that even came from. I mean if you actually read the chris may article, i think it would scare most kids to an sr...it took him 3 rebuilds. But hey thats what being a bandwagoner is all about. Feels good i guess.

the reason why he blew 3 engines was because he was a pioneer, and during his time, there wasn't alot of things out for it yet. those 3 engines that he blew were all lessons on how not to build the engine. now that he has it done correctly, i doubt his engine is goin to blow anytime soon.

at least we're not driving civic's with B18's or H22's or the new popular K20 swap. Im glad to have my SR...i would have turboed my KA if it had less miles on it...both great engines

Re: wich motor?
o yea i know that. Im just saying that most kids at the time that read that would probably never get inspired to turbo there ka. I did though hence thats why i dont want an sr. But RW clearly thinks its because i dont want to follow the latest craze....so iv been on the ka wagon since it has been released(may 2002) to the public i guess, its just now that i finally have funds to actually do it. What ever floats his boat though, im aiming to have a running ka-t by summers end. so whatever.....
and they also have a complete how to on the sr engine in the same issue...but yea im not getting an sr so im not a follower clearly..

Re: wich motor?
Build whatever engine you want to because you want to. Who gives a fuck if its bandwagon or not. If you want a civic hatchback with a B16a because you like them, then get it. Don't buy something to be different. You won't like it and you'll be kicking yourself in the ass.
And come on, this bandwagon shit is getting a little old. I got one: Calling things bandwagon is now a bandwagon. If you do it, you are no longer cool. You will be on the bandwagon.

Re: wich motor?
i know lol. thats why i said im on the ever so young ka-t bandwagon....except iv just been dreaming about it for 3 years...now its just more popular, so now that i can afford it during the bandwagon times. All in all there is only so many engines to choose from....soon they all will be a bandwagon or should we say just a common thing to do. CASE CLOSED tune the engine you want to tune, why do we fight over all the nissan power houses lol. No matter what choice, you still win.

Re: wich motor?
IMO, the SR is just as pointless as the RB series if you live in a state where they do visual checks, and you'd like to drive your car legally (paying the clerk a bribe doesnt count as legel lol). I would definatly do the SR swap because its so hard to find a nice, manual, low mileage 240sx around here. But the damn emissions are so strict with all these "save the trees hippies".
I say, earth first, we'll log the other planets later!! (corny, but i heard it when i was having lunch with a friend who is a logger)

Re: wich motor?
My statement also coincides with not judging other peoples choices and not degrading their choice.
