unless you changed the trany then you shouldnt have to be in a higher gear to get up to a specific speed than you used to. If you recently changed the clutch i would highly suspect that to be the culprit. only thing im suprised about is that if it is the clutch why dont you smell it? also where does your clutch grab? high/low? if you dont understand what i mean push the clutch in put the car in gear and see how far you have to release the clutch before the trany engages and the car starts moving. if its real close to all the way released then you need to adjust it.

It grabs pritty soon... but I did adjust the cluch yesterday.. but no... I dont smell the cluch burning.. but my exaust smells like pure gas.. like not all of the fuel is being burned... thats kinda why I thought it my be my distributer..

The Reson that I suggest that is becuse when im idleing sometime it will go from 1500 rpm and below zero.. this is without my foot on the gas..
