PROGRESS: 612 Scaglietti

A few days ago i went to a local hobby store an was very happy to get the last kit the had

This kit doesnīt match the Tamiya quality, as Revell-Germany hoped to do, but itīs quite nice an well molded.

Yes, i know there are to many other unfinished projects, but i couldnīt resist starting this Ferrari.
Here are some pics of the engine:

Please tell me what you think so far!?

Hi,

I saw all parts of the kit in another thread. That didnīt look bad and your engine looks great, too.
Nevertheless I donīt think - like you - that the Revell AG will reach the level of Japanese Car model manufacturers, as they said.

Iīm looking forward to see what the wheels will look like in the wheel wells.

Already good looking to me!

What colour are you planning to spray it?

Oh and good luck!

nice start off the (cylinder) blocks!

are you going for an out of the box or detail build? Also interested in your choice of body colour. heard that the mftcr reco is a complicated mix of 4 colours?!?!

keep up the good work!!

Meh, the exact colour of the Blue I don't know , but IMO it comes close to light metallic blue, or some mica over silver...

I m just saying that in case you might be willing to makeing a blue one,
I know I m not!

I see the decal on the air box, is the pony on the intake a decal as well?

nice engine! Which color is the Scaglietti going to have. You seem to be the first one building the Scaglietti. So go ahead and finish first!
