Re: Seafaom? Anyone know where....

I've only got a 6" procomp lift on it...i got a real good deal on parts ond labor so i had 4WheelParts install it for under $200. I was thinking of cranking my t-bars togain like another inch or two and throwing another add a leaf in the rear. but i don't wanna start wearing out my front end components....all the offroading i do has pretty much done that for me...LOL....the truck looks a bit weird(to me anyway) b/c I haven't put larger tires on yet...I still have the 285/75/16....and i've been waiting b/c i want to add a 3" body lift then throw on some 36" or 37" tires.....
Even with the lift and all it is still INCREDIBLY possible to get stuck in a nasty mud hole.....LOL....this is what happens when you're not careful....

Re: Seafaom? Anyone know where....

I kept saying that i would wait on the lift b/c it was too much money and then bam...i found an amazing deal so i went with it.....if you shop around a bit i'm sure you can find a killer deal....also, you may want to take a look at a body lift... install is gonna be a similar price though.....

Re: Seafaom? Anyone know where....

I know, I know....it was a pretty messed up night but everything turned out ok...i guess... to make a long story short, I went to return a movie with one of my cousins....on one of the coldest nights of the year no less....it also happened to be raining extremely hard......anyway, we (more like I) decided to cross a muddy field as a shortcut back home...the whole field was under like a foot and half of water but i had been across it a couple of times.....i ended up going into a five foot drainage ditch.......after a couple of hours of trying every imaginable way to get unstuck i called AAA and they sent out the biggest wrecker they had from nearly an hour away to winch me out...the tow truck struggled to get me out but after about twenty mins of pulling i came free....it looked like i had scraped up the whole passenger side against the dirt but by soem act of god I only tore up my right exhaust and the front air dam.....zip ties and a quick weld took care of that...LOL....

BUT...you are definitely right that CHEVY'S aint supposed to be gettin stuck......and i'm proud to say that thats the only time i've gotten stuck in mud.....YET.............LOL
