Re: Pictures with my messed up timing.

don't say I never tried to help you all. This site that I am linking has the CRX (EDM) so it features the D16A8 and D16A9 (EDM equivalent of JDM ZC) and in the '91 Supplement it features the B16. So take it and save it to your computer.

If you suck at the internet, can I suggest a helpful little site? www.google.com can be your friend.

http://www.haynes.com/

Pick your nation, and order.

Dont think you can order a UK manual? I did.

Why are you being such a dick dude? What the hell is your problem? You think Cause your a mod you can just dick around with whoever you want to?

All I was posting was pictures of my timing which is messed up. I wasn't really complaining about anything.

I don't have an extra 14$ to be completely honest. After bills and Rent i am spending over 1000$ a month just to live. That doesn't include school costs every semester.

So back the fuck up dude, you have no reason to be such a fucking idiot. I don't even know you, and you come around like some kind of god damn king. If you want to help I appriciate it, but if you are gonna dick around and be some kind of High and Mighty know it all, then just lay off.

yea, thanks t-mo. ive been looking for that version of the zc manual for a long ass time.
As for your timing issue Onimacus, heres a pic of how the cam gears should look...

The inner cam gear marks should be level with the head, and thats straight out of the original zc manual. and heres a pic of the allignment hole that i was talking about...

As for making sure the bottom end is at tdc, if you take off your pulley and timing cover, the gear for the timing belt (on the crankshaft) has a groove in it that will need to be lined up with the arrow thats on the block. If you cant get the pulley and cover off, there should be a white mark on the crank pulley. That white mark should line up with the pointer on the cover. Fairly easy and dont feel stupid about asking ANY questions no matter what people say, thats why were here.

You are the one who started with the attitude. I simply stated the fact, that half ass work, causes problems.

If you cant afford to do the job right, then how can you afford to redo it down the road?

So, since you called me a fucking idiot, I will use my god given mod abilities, which I seem to abuse according to you, to give you your first warning for talking shit to someone, ie; flaming.

Re: Pictures with my messed up timing.

when a cam turns, its in clicks, not a smooth motion, it can be a little off, as long as they arnt very far off there is no problem at all, as for tdc, stick something in cylender one, make sure the belt is off at the bottum half and turn it untill the cylender starts back down, then move it back just a kunt hair, and vwala your at tdc, now the callange is, makeing all 3 wheels being where they need to be at once
