there is an acura that looks almost exactly like the honda civic, you might have confisd it for that. Or the guy wants people to think he has an acura because they're generally more expensive, etc...

the honda civic in canada is an acura cl(i think)
if you do a body swap headlights bumper then it's ok to swicth emblems like a 240 to a silvia conversion but if you have a stock civic and you put a type r badge on it...thats just lame

the acura civic in canada is called the Acura EL or Acura 1.6EL on early models.
