-ign switch

your gonna have to track this one down, sounds like a tuffy but you can do it.

Thanks for the input!

-I took off my clutch saftey switch.

-Not sure about voltage drop.

-The chassis ground on my battery when I swapped it to the back isn't that great, it's actually kinda loose, so I'm going to start there.

-I hope it ain't ign switch (btw it wouldn't make the starter click if it was the ign switch though right?)

Re: Starter problem

I went and got a push button starter, so wtf. I just cut like every fucking wire comming out of my ignition, testing to see which one was the starter and I got no where, I'm down to two wires I haven't cut, but it's getting dark and I have no more butt connectors to connect them back.

God damn I'm so pissed, I didn't think it would be this hard to install a fuckin push button starter.

Anyone know where the starter wire is? Or what color or WTF!?!? I'm going crazy!!!

The wire comming off my + batt terminal is going right to the starter, then there is one other small wire comming off the starter + going in to the fuse box under the hood that says "BATTERY"

The switch needs a +12v hot wire, 12v ign. wire, and a starter wire. I've got everything but the starter wire. If I have to run a damn wire myself to the starter I will but where to run it? Right where the battery is hooked up? Makes no sense...

PLEASE HELP

Re: Starter problem

Well I went back to the parts store and talked to a dude who knows his shit and it ends up, I don't even need the relay, just hooked up the button to a hot wire in the fuse box, then hooked up the other wire to the spade connection on the starter and bam done. I'll get a pic of the push button it's kinda cool.

It feels good to finally know I don't have to start my car with a screwdriver.

Re: Starter problem

I guess that's cool if you never plan on getting rid of your car (which you've already made clear you never will).
