CarJackings - Sydney

Hello WRX owners.

I know we don't really like each each other (the Nissan Vs Subaru thing...we ALL know who wins that one...hehehe)

Seriously

Are you guys having as much trouble with carjackings in Sydney as we are ?

WE are seriously looking at about 5-7 Skylines taken in a week (carjackings when the people are entering/exiting their car only - alot at gunpoint). I know I'll get a few smart replies for being an invader on your forum, but I'm sure none of you want their car taken...

Here in California, we don't have that problem. People can't just go up to you and carjack you, there's too many people around. Even at night, it would be difficult to do that.

Welcome to a fellow Sydneysider. I hear WRXs are getting it bad, but I'm also on Honda forums. They already have a thread on the matter you may wanna check out. One of the Honda guys had his ITR carjacked. It's really bad in W and SW Sydney, but police suspect another similar gang has started in NW Sydney (near me).
