Re: Major Problems

Yeah, sorry for freaking out. It just makes me laugh when people ask for help on the forum but don't tell anybody what car they have, then they get pissed when people can't help them.

ok so i got to get new breaks for her. So i figure, i might as well test it too. So I start her up, it started great. But I waited a good thirdy seconds then i heard the whistling sound. I'm almost ready to cry, so i drive to the autoshop. Get what i need, then get back in the car, started right up, ran great, stopped outside my cousins house, chatted a little, and drove home without any problems. Got home, and i let it run for a few minutes. No whistling sound. I'm happy but confused at the same time. So i shut it down, and try to restart it again right after killing it. Turned the key and it cranked and i heard the ignition noise thingy( hope you know what im talking about) and didn't start, then turned it again and i could tell the starter was having problems, so tryed once more and fired right up. I'm beginning to think it is just a bad starter. and maybe perhaps that whistle everyonce in a while is just a hose with a small hole in it, or a referee whistle is caught in the throttle body.................... yeah maybe thats it..................

Anymore ideas, i hope i'm not confusing you guys, if you don't get the lingo, then i'll post again, but i think you'll understand me.

it really wasn't a loud whistle, if i was behind the car with the exhaust i couldn't here it, but when you walk in front of the car, it sounded like a hole in a intertupe, but not loud. Somewhat noticeable but not really.
