Re: what pisses me off MOST about integra
You know that all leather seats no matter what brand are going to get hard and feel cheap. They will also tear easily if you do not condition them. If you condition your seats at least once a month and take care of the leather than they will continue to look good and hold up to tearing better. It is as simple as that! They have to be conditioned and talken care of, most people never condition their seats one time. It is sad that people don't take care of their cars better.

Re: what pisses me off MOST about integra
I've been looking around for a teg, (cuz I want one SOOO bad!) and the majority of the ones I've seen, had ripped leather seats. Most of them had a tear, or wearing really bad on the drivers seat (most used - duh, I know). I would have no clue why, or who's to blame. It would be excellent to find an older (early 90's) in mint, with leather, but I really don't see that happening........

Re: what pisses me off MOST about integra
You would have to find someone who actually conditioned the leather. It doesn't just stay nice forever by leaving it alone. You really have to take care of it every once in a while. I'm about to do so on my 1998 GSR. I don't know if the previous owner did it cause I see some cracking, but I'm definatly going to do it myself.

A few things I wanted to mention. First off, there are many companies who mix leather and vinyl materials in their "leather" seats. I work in an aphostery shop and detail cars, and I have seen many OEM "leather" car's with a mix, including some better know brands. Typically the middle part of the seats would be leather and the much smaller sides would be a matching vinyl. Most people never have a clue, unless they start looking, as they OEM's do a decent job matching.
Secondly, many times Leather is installed after the factory buy the dealers. Many dealers use Classic Soft Trim or Katzkin, who's leather isn't the greatest. If you actually compare the hide they use when it's off the seat to, say, a high end company like GAHH, you'll see what I mean. Anyways, my point is, if you ever have a car with a mix of leather and vinyl, whether you think it's fair or not, I've seen it before, not so much on some of the newer cars though. Also, if it's aftermarket leather or delaer-installed leather (like classic or Katzkin), then it can make a difference. I know Honda still used Classic a few years ago, but I heard a dealer here switched to Katzkin. For example, if you look closly a Honda Oddessy with Leather, you'll see "Classic Soft Trim" stamped somewhere on the back of the seats usually. In fact, Classic won't sell people leather seat covers for certain cars because ileather was available as a dealer option and they were the supplier. Also, like Whtteg mentioned. Caring for leather properly is a must. Leather is a hide, an animal skin. If you don't protect and it and such it can become dry, brittle and crack. You need to conditon and protect it frequently. A good over the counter Leather Condtioner is Lexol. Spray is on a cloth/sponge, wipe it on/run it in, let it sit for a few minutes and wipe it off with a clean cloth.
