what pisses me off MOST about integra

what pisses me off most is how cheap the seats are! they say its "leather" but really its vinyl and really cheap quality. i just put a damn computer tower in my backseat, and take it off, and the bottom seat was already ripping! the materials so thin and you cant put anything on it.what was acura thinking of??? serioiusly, i'm jealous of my cousins 1995 camry cause he actually got real leather on. i might ask if i can trade him. hehe i'd rather have cloth than these seats. does anyone have that same feeling??

Absolutely not. My leather seats are actually leather. So is the steering wheel, and shift knob.

im with pepsihatman... the leather in my teg is top notch and the bucket seats are so comfortable, the quality is fantastic. what year and model is yours?

dont mean to piss you off but what where u thinking putting a computer case (I assume the bottom end) on leather? Many computer case are cheap because they are badly finish with some so-so sharp edges. I always have a towel on the trunk for many reasons, like putting stuff on leater

I think maybe he is just mad that "he" ripped the seat and he is just taking it out on Acura. My integra does not have leather, but all my friends who have leather in their integra's have real leather and I think it is good quality. My TL-S has leather and it is top notch as well.
Please don't bash the product when a human error was the problem rather than poor quality.

waaaaait a minute, so theres some leather and some vinyl??why did that happen? leather people are you sure its leather? whats weird is my center console is real leather but my seats arent. i can tell cause its much softer. i can tell my seats are vinyl cause they easily get hard and that how it starts ripping. nice and cheap.

and i dont know what i was thinking putting that computer tower there. when it's late at night and i'm real tired i tend to do things without thinking. nahmeen?

I think it's actually pleather .....either that or its some really cheap quality leather - believe me, real, good quality leather feels nothing like Integra seats :P.

well in acura's defense... maybe neither of you guys have set down in a 01 integra w/ leather. the leather is high quality. my aunt has a lexus and the leather feels thicker/more durable in my teg than hers. plus i like the black leather. i can't speak for other year models because i've never been in one w/ leather... maybe the quality is different in the previous years, but don't go saying ignorant comments like "real, good quality leather feels nothing like Integra seats"

I agree with kornflakes I have yet to see an Integra that had cheap leather from the factory. Maybe if it was converted by someone it could be cheap leather or not even leather at all. You know there are companies that sell a leather seat cover that is supose to replace the cloth cover. Some of these kits are more than likely poor quality and possibly your seat were converted by the previous owner? Just a thought. But I would not go around saying that the integra does not have real leather seats.

at least you guys have leather seats. I have the beige striped cloth interior. Would much rather have leather . And yes black leather is the best but not when its hot outside, it can be a pain to sit on

You know, my TL-S has black leather seats and they really don't get as hot as I was fearing. I have not had it very long but I can remember getting into it on a 90+ degree day. I guess we will see this summer when it gets to be close to 100 here lol.

I had exactly the same situation. I have a 95 gsr with "leather". I think in reality it is a combo of leather and pleather. There are 2 different hardnesses of leather like material in the seats.
And I too ripped the back seat, but with a computer speaker made of plastic. I was so pissed.

here a thought, get aftermaket seat if u dont like ur stock ones
