Progress FERRARI F40 LeMans 1995 "BRUMMEL"

Hi.
I live in Seoul Korea.

It's my first time to attend Contest.
Heres my work for Le Mans Contest Entry

I am builing FERRARI F40 LeMans 1995 "BRUMMEL"

I used Fujimi F40LM for base body.
and ScaleDesign F40 brumell Decal.

Last march 2004 I started this work.
Let me introduce total 10 month of F40 Brumell project.

this is real Brumel F40.. so fantastic.. but .. Fujimi kit is something different.
I should change it.




I started make a hall in front bonnet.






After finish modify body.. I painted Tamiya Fine surface Primer white .
and Tamiya Itallian Red.


Back side hall was molded... I scratched using auger.


I also made hall below side in the picture.


Original plate is not curved. so I used hot water.... and bend forward by hand.


Body changing was almost finished.

Nice work Randy. Have you finished it yet or still making progress? Also, according to your reference pictures, it looks like you missed an NACA duct in front of the rear wheels. Or are you building a slightly different version?

Thanks Phil. Actually I already Finished this work.
But as you say... I missed NACA duct in this picture. but after found this problem I corrected.

I applied Decal sheet... it's most hardest decalling that i ever tried before because of a lot of curveside.


When I applied decal sheet. I forgot make duct near by rear wheel.. So I added.




I added ooopsite side decaling.


decal size is little big...




After some decaling .. I found antenna position is different.
body was alreaddy painted... how can I do?
but I removed it.. and hoped repaint well


after cutting. I used sandpaper..and repainted.


here's result... can not see any color differences.. successful~~
I just finished left side green color decaling.. it takes too many time..
I am already exhausted...

I started right side decaling.


It takes 30 minutes to apply this decal.




After apply decaling. some part is too short.... I should fix it.
