Re: Scion TC on desert mountain twisties and tc vs tegra

[quote=chexmixa] he said the "b18b non-vetec." and when he opened the hood that confirmed it. He said he was turning his car into the ls vtec what ever that is. [quote]

Don't wanna take away from this story at all, but B18b non-vtecs are pretty weak as far as B series engines go, only put out like 140 hp at the crank or something like that....LS VTEC means he wants to put VTEC heads on his non-vtec B18b engine block.

Re: Scion TC on desert mountain twisties and tc vs tegra

yeah but i wont race anyone on the 2 lane twisties. Lot of drop offs, good chunck of cars out there would beat me on the twisties just because of better suspension or weight. I admit it the TC handles like a brick lol. Thats why i am going to invest in a better sway bar and trd suspension. Way farther down the road a big brake kit would be nice too.

take out all that extra crap, the tc's only problem is that its overweight.
