I agree

I agree with TheGladHatter... Im going to be doing the Auto-Manual Swap over the summer break hopefully and we will see...how tough it is to actaully find the stuff and do the install(not by me). And hope for a flawless Auto-Manual maybe...you guys think I should go with the Manual ECU for the overall swap? The auto ECu seems to be wahts giving the people the most problems...My Overdrive button is only on the Stick Shift, not on the side near the Headlight Pop-Up? And also on the subject of those buttons will the Cruise Control still work with the new ECU?...also will my Guages work? I have the Digital Speedo and Manual Tachometer will those work?

Re: Everyone read please. Auto vrs Manuel

the easiest way to do it would be to get an ecu from a car with all the exact same options but manual instead of auto.. which might be hard to find and probably expensive..

Shit I would leave the Auto ECU in so you don't get that gay-ass speed limiter or fuel cut. I've heard that its not hard to fix that little problem with the park anyways. Don't you just wire it to a 12v ignition source?

Whoa...

Just got the best IDEA...take that wire that wont let you start car because no "Park" and put it on a flip switch somwhere not noticable by "thieves" "friends" etc... and when you Flip the switch it connects the circuit to allow the car to be started! That would be the cheapest Anti-Theft device...Anyways what does it require to let you start while not in park?

Re: Everyone read please. Auto vrs Manuel

Also what does everyone consider cheap? I got my 95 s14 auto w/ 102,000 miles for $400 had a blown headgasket and a hole in one rim from the idiot who towed it. I would consider that cheap as it comes, no cracks in the interior no damaged pannels on the car everything looks good just some minor dings and scratches and like 2 cig burns in the interior
