Cool Ferrari F 40 "Pilot"

Hi

This is a Ferrari I love because of its colour: it is not red.

It is a Ferrari F 40 LM „Pilot“, as it participated in 1995 in LeMans. The kit is from Fujimi in 1:24, decals came from a different company.

The model is built in 1996 with some additional details.

Micha

Re: Ferrari F 40 "Pilot"

Love it! Saw this car at LM in '96... as recall it had a few spins and then caugt fire in the pits at about 1 in the morning. Still, it's nice to see a non-Red Ferrari once in a while.

Like it, verry nice. They ran a blue F40 in the american GT series as well if I recall correctly. It's a great color for that car.

Re: Ferrari F 40 "Pilot"

The good model but mismatches the original a little! And who the manufacturer of a decal and wheels?

Re: Ferrari F 40 "Pilot"

Looks great...but what I like most about it is the fact that comparing it to your recent models it shows you how much your skills have improved. And before somebody jumps onto my back because of this, I make sure that this meant as a compliment!

Even in 1996 you were a master. Fantastic looking model.
