Not installed yet, the ECM will be reprogrammed to use the ABS... (ecm doesn't control the ABS in the full size trucks) The performance of the 96-2000 5.7's is very very good, and very modable. It's a fairly easy install.

How much is it going to cost you to do all of this ecm reprogramming?

I've heard that some 1500's have a 4.3. You need an ecm from a 1500 with a 5.7, right?

about a $100.00 for the ECM reprogramming, I paid 700.00 for the motor (40k on it) 0 for the harness, 0 for the ECM, 120 for ls1 headers (so that it will fit in the engine bay) 120.00 for the stealth oilpan, 200.00 for the more agressive cam, plus a few other odds and ends.

Yes, I'm using a k1500 ECM
