how do you explain the ferrari f-612 being mid-engine with the engine in front of the firewall. i have always hear that where the engine is placed in relation to the axles and what makes it front, mid, or rear.

Re: What is "the muscle" of Imports??

The RX-7 is technically front-midship. The engine is in front of the driver, but behind the front axel.

You can call it whatever you want, heck, that's what the design guys did at mazda. But, think about the firewall/engine placement. Any car after 19** is gonna have a firewall separating the engine from the cabin-front, rear, mid.

Here is a link that has some definitions on pony cars/muscle cars:

http://www.musclecarclub.com/musclec...finition.shtml

Anyways, I know it's just a game but on PGR2 they refered to it as "Pacific Muscle" which I thought was kinda cool. They had the obvious, like Supra, Skyline, 3000GT, RX-7 etc..
