I bought a stock '95 Sentra at a charity auction, drove it home, and it stalled in my driveway. Wouldn't fire until it cooled down. Checked the oil and it was like a milkshake all up the dipstick. definitely leaking coolant into the oil. I'd like to pressurize the coolant system and check the head etc. for signs of leaking. Can this be done using an air compressor, or do I need some specialized equipment? I'd like to be sure of the source before I tear this motor apart.

One other question, the car has no owners manual, and it only came with a single key. There is a blinking red light on the instrument panel, I think it says "security" or something similar. I believe it goes out only when the car is running. Anyone know what this is exactly? Does this car have some sort of factory alarm system?

Re: Coolant leak into oil
The only way antifreeze gets into the oil or vice-versa is a bad head gasket. If you have the twin overhead cam and haven't worked on one of these kind of engines I would recomend taking it to a mechanic. I had to remove the cams from my 93 sentra and it took me about 5 times to get the cams back in the right way.
