I know the feeling.
I went to a mates for a coffee yesterday morning and his ball and chain was giving him a hard time about all his Tamiya kits and the doubles he had and told him he had to get rid of some.
I came home with another Subaru wrx sti, skyline V spec II, Mitsi Evo VII rally, Rossi NSR500, Ducati 916 and Repsol NSR 98.
Wife was out when I got home so snuck them straight into my shed and stuck in the pile where less obvious.
The things we have to do. We have even swapped kits between us for "kits we didn't have" and then swapped them back later for other "kits we didn't have"and the wives were none the wiser that we just got back what we originally started with.

Since im a full time student again and my parents are paying for all my bills, I too have to sneak kits in my room. Sometimes I leave them in the car till the coast is clear, or I open the kit before entering the house and pretend it was in the garage being worked on earlier.

I even went as far as to send all my mailed items to my best friends place of work, again so the parents dont complain. E-Bay is the devils work I tell ya.

Edit: the reason for all this is because in a span of a little over 18 months I have acumilated 84 unbuilt kits and 59 unused aftermarket rims with 9 on the way from HLJ. My dad doesnt mind, my mom thinks im crazy.

I guess im not alone when it comes to being sneaky. There is no cure, were all doomed. Sad thing is, im not looking for a cure, this sickness makes me happy, I guess im in the stage of denial.

Don't worry WeaPoN, the skills you learn now will work for you when you're married/shacked up etc etc.

The finance minister is always asking how long I've had that kit for, my best reply is "About the same time you've had those shinny shoes!"
