its more of a gray black i think. Im pretty sure its gas being burnt. but i dont know what to do.

have you open the hood while it's ideled and play around with the throttle and see what happens?

i have opened the hood when running but havent played with thortle. What would that have to do about burning to much gas and smoke? J/w but ill do it... Also whens its running and i have the hood opened, OMG the engine shakes so bad lol.
Well i just messed with the thortal a little and give it a little more gas make the bogging/shaking cut in about half and it dosent shake as bad, but is that bad to ideal it up? And how much is to much? I havent tuched anyhting yet becouse i dident know. But also it still is spiting out big puff's of black smoke

you have an O2 sensor right? It should be on the exhuast manifold. Maybe there is something wrong with it? Does your check engine light come on?

The engine lights not on.... im on a alt here, and dont know what to do. My dad said i could be a problem witht he cadilac convertor or something mabye. Should i take it in?

i don't think a bad cat would make it bellow smoke, my cat went bad on my astro (for unatural reasons
 ) but you could tell it was broken since there was a rattling sound comming from it. If you are worried about your cat you can always take it to a muffler place and have them bang on it and they'll tell you if it's good or not, weather or not to trust what they say is up to you. My place isn't bad i trust them for the most part.
