Question

Maximas = premium fuel only?

Do 96-98 Maximas require premium fuel? Or can they detect the type of fuel and adjust via cpu the timing so it won't ping....

I used to put regular in my 96 and at 110k miles I never had it ping

the owners manual says only use premium.
