The car looks great! That color is so awesome. Very subtle and stunning all at the same time.

The Cobra colors paints are awesome to use. I have a bunch of colors waiting to find themselves on cars right now. They can be thinned with Mr Thinner. I found that I could thin them up to a 1:1 ratio. The paints come pre-thinned, but my airbrush didn't like them as they came. A little Mr. thinner and they sprayed perfectly. Thanks for recommending that thinner Zoom-Zoom!

Welcome to the Miura club! I can't wait to see yours done.

The color looks great on it.
You did a great job with those door louvers. They are a nightmare. Mine are not broken but they look broken.
The chrome parts will need a lot of work and Alclad2.

A bit of progress, the body is polished, the rockers painted w/Alclad Duraluminum, the front/rear grilles installed, and I've done a bit of black trim work around the windshield and on the side louvers. There are thin strips of Bare Metal Foil centered in the windshield trim strip, to simulate a chrome strip and black rubber trim. More foiling tomorrow, and final assembly can start on the interior/chassis.

I like the rubber trim around the windshield. Looks great.

Final color is a good choice. Looks good (as usual)

If you could explain how did you do that, I mean I supose you painted trim black cut the foil thiner then trim and put it in the middle, but how did you manage to cut and place it so exact? What about the joints? Please give us a close up.

You pretty well explained it...I masked off the entire trim area, painted it flat black, cut very thin pieces of Bare Metal Foil, applied them carefully, and trimmed the corners as clean as possible. It's really not that difficult, you have to have a good metal cutting edge for the foil (a metal ruler), and a new blade, and then a cotton swab to burnish the foil once it's applied.

Applying the decals around the headlight area was more difficult! Four little decals and setting solutions, took about 20 minutes for something that I thought would take 5 minutes.
