Re: what kind of racing have you done in your car?

only street and light to light ones here... havn't gone to the track because it's like an hour drive away, and my girl's uber against me racing... so it'd be kinda hard to sneak out for that long... but while driving around town, if i get challenged, i'll run.

Re: what kind of racing have you done in your car?

Mostly street runs. I like the street enviroment better. Only open roads because I don't like racing with a bunch of people around. After having the cops show up once and almost take you to jail, you really start being more precautious. I do a little twistie running on some roads. I'm not racing at all right now. I just put the turbo on and I don't want to push it for a couple hundred miles.

Re: what kind of racing have you done in your car?

ive done alot of street racing(light to light and on the highway) and i like to see how fast i can take corners, also ive been to the track once, but i mainly race dirttrack late model cars which i guess is a cross between drifting and track racing but it is fun as hell sliding sideways at 50 to 80mph with a car on both sides of you 1ft away

Re: what kind of racing have you done in your car?

i dont like straights. i just dont.for me it takes a hell alot of time to learn the shift points. its more fun going into the corners fast. i dont really race but lap myself at my home streets. i live in the hills where the next neighbor is about 1 acre away so,,,, its real curvey and a private road so almost no one goes there. oh... i like drift.because of the skill needed.

I have also done some street racing. Only been beat once by a car that was not street legal.
THANK YOU! lol. And of course, I totally agree!

It's def. a rush setting there buckled in with both pre-stage and stage lights lit, your thumb pressing the trans. break button(in my case atleast, lol. I bracket race) and your foot crammed on the floor listening to the engine hit the two-step; top yellow light comes on, you jerk your thumb off the button, and in 1.035 seconds (how much time I run in my delay box) later BAM car goes WOT and I go from 0-around 85 mph in 4.4 seconds (330 ft. track, car runs 4.40s in it when the track conditions are fair, and the last time we got mph times it ran 83.xx), lol.

There is no margin for error either, lol. Just check my sig. for my latest run, lol. I got a big .950 RT (on a .500 base tree) all becuase my big thumb slipped off the trans. break button, so I grabbed it back and let it go again, resetting my delay, causing me to be way late (had I not, I would have been way early)!!! Had that been an actual elimination race and not a time trial, I would have for sure been put on the trailer, and not by choice!
