just street races, two to be exact. I guess you can consider them drag races.

Re: what kind of racing have you done in your car?

Quite a few street races, one or 2 highway races, and one time me and some friends tried to set-up a road course, that didn't work out all that well...

Re: what kind of racing have you done in your car?

All of my stories have been street races. Pretty much all I do. My car doesn't do well on highways, or tracks, or even streets for that matter. But when I can race, I do. Heheh...Late...

Re: what kind of racing have you done in your car?

Drag race only, on the street and track. I'd have to say honestly that the track is funner IF it isn't packed and you can make more than 5 runs in an hour. heh

I've drag raced on the track and the light to light kind. I've never done organized street racing of any kind though. I've raced on the highway, never in traffic, always late at night when it is mostly empty. I've also done canyon racing, which is going up a canyon road and driving down it really fast late at night, and no, not Initial D style either.

I still need to get to the Auto-X course but I didn't get interested in Auto-X until after my first GTC was totaled. However, my new GTCs suspension and tires definitely aren't in any shape to be doing that. The brakes are now though. Perhaps next season when I can afford tires and suspension I can get the GTC out on the Auto-X course.

Street, highway, and AutoX.

Even though from my experiences turbo cars don't do well at autoX, and the eclipse weigh's a bit too much for autoX, it's the funnest thing I've done in my car

Man all of the things you guys have done make me feel useless. I raced once but i've only had my license for about a month. I drive a 4banger pickup.

Re: what kind of racing have you done in your car?

Light to light, Highway pulls. But the most fun is doing checkpoints, just pick a spot and see who can get there the shortest, then when you get to that spot you have no idea where you have to go until someone tells you.
Rallying(not in my car ) old rwd Volvos rock in the snow and gravel.
No autocross around here, and closest race track is almost 4 hours away.

Wham bam thank you and come again straight line drag racing. One chance to get your crap together and get the job done. No laps, no do overs, no corners. Just you, the car, and pure power. People who think drag racing is ez and take no skill has not tried to control a car when the front wheels are in the air...

I have also done some street racing. Only been beat once by a car that was not street legal.

Drag racing, street racing, and autocross once. Mostly I run at the track, going tomorrow night. I like the track cause there's no excuses, you win or you lose and there's no arguing with the clock. [email protected] is my best so far, hoping to break into the 11's tomorrow night with a few suspension tweaks (1.77 60', gotta work on that). Gotta agree with Hypsi87, it takes skill to control a vehicle when you hit oil that someone else spilled on the track and you're WOT and the truck goes sideways at midtrack (that was me on Sunday). I do like putting the truck through the twisties, but drag racing is definitely more my thing
