I missed the Italiano.....but was there on Sat. and saw allot at Pebble Beach (which was setting up). Wondered around and found 5 different Enzos (one was even in the street, running, doors open with no driver, and a trophy wife in the passenger seat ready to go ). What amazed me the most is the number of SL Gullwings....I thought they were supposed to be rare!! A Porsche 904,906, and 935 RSR. A BMW 507. A Mk1 GT40. All at the cost of $8 to get on the 17 Mile Drive.

It was fun going around with my brother talking to people and have coversations end with "So what group are you with?" In a video clip I took of an Enzo driving away you can hear someone go "So your with Ferrari?" and my brother replying "No, just a fan."

I didn't find that McLaren there, but I'm almost sure its the same one I found a week back. Would be a good reason why they were charging the battery and tweaking it when we saw it. My brother also remebers the plaque on the tail. However, I cannot be sure, so I'll see sometime if its still at the shop and see if I can find some evidence.

Re: First shot of #028 from Concorso Italiano...

There is really no need to go back for further evidence. We are sure that it was Meltzer's car both times, chassis #28. With so few McLarens around, it's not too hard to keep track of their locations in California.

Also, if possible, can you post the video of the Enzo driving away.

Hey, thats definetly Chris Meltzer's car. I was the one who posted the first time about seeing it in the garage, and thats weird they deleted the thread, i tried searching for it also. It makes sense that Silicon Valley Auto Group brought the car, they are 3 mins away from chris's garage. They also have the lotus elise you see in some of the pics at their dealership right now. I had a look at that badge on the back when I saw it in person and i remember it being really faded and I wasnt able to read it, my friend made a comment on how if you pay so much for a car it shouldnt have a jacked up badge like that. Im definetly kicking myself for not going to concorso this year...next year for sure im going!!

Drew from Fast-Autos.net put up his gallery from the Concorso Italiano show which includes ~14 photos of the F1.

It starts on this page and continues onto the next:

He could just be suggesting that because the car was displayed by a dealership as opposed to most of the other cars at the Concorso on display by their owner.

First I've heard or seen anything relating to it - but in reality, most cars are always for sale for a price.
