Sorry I didn't pay closer attention. I had my attention turned to other things. I was in the "Hot and Not" forum, "I Want Change" sub-forum posting, voiting and viewing my opinion to lobby get get the Honda forums back to how they were. I should have read closer, and yes if I had I WOULD have noticed that, anyone that knows me on here knows I normally pay better attention...anyways, glad it worked out none the less. Lets see pics of how it turns out from the thread starter...I just thought about posting the DIY link cuz of all the neat pictures with it, lol.

So, not to be a be-atch, but can I get a better picture of that headlight. My girlfriend the photography teacher loves for the phot's technical aspects of incorporating reflection and forms of light, I just wanna see where all the paint is, so if you, or anyone has a pick without the glare, I would greatly appreciate it.

thanks for posting the pic none the less

peace

I tried it, and I am very happy with the results. To put the assembly back together, I put the plastic outer shield back on the housing, loosely then put it all back in the oven and squished the piece back together and put silicone on any section that didn't bead up or had gaps.

worked pretty good, only took a couple of hours to do. well worth it.

any formulas for the tailights?

Re: Ungluing Headlamps/Taillamps?

something that is a lot easier to use....a heatgun. It goes a lot faster and if you're not dumb and set it to full hot, you won't have a chance to melt anything.

Don't have any plans for the tails. It would be nice to get the same kind of subtle, yet dramatic, look from the tails that painting the headlamps gets. Just haven't seen it done. Anyone got any pics or links of tails done up like that?

I would think remove the color sticker and replace it with a color bulb and paint the reflecters as desired. (within the law of course)

Re: Ungluing Headlamps/Taillamps?

Be carefull with the tails because they WILL pull you over if your reflectors are painted and give you a work order to get them fixed
