Tell him just by saying that he's proven he's so stupid chances are he doesn't even know what V-TEC is, does, or how it works. Then ask him to explain it. Watch him bullshit, then explain how it works (I assume you know it is basically a second set of more aggressively profiled cam lobes that are switched over to at higher RPM's controlled by oil pressure etc) and then when he argues with you, show him www.howstuffworks.com and their own article on V-TEC. Then go find honda sites. Then tell him he should stop talking because
1.) The only people he impresses have no clue about cars and
2.) The people that do have a clue are laughing at him
3.) He could be trying to prove it so you can blow his doors off and then afterward demand he admit he's and asshole and you'll teach him how to make his Civic faster instead of louder.
