Same lame crap by the same lame members... I'm so done with this.

The whole "your not from the country so it doesnt affect you" argument is really retarded. Your a super-power, whatever you do affects the entire world, so shut up and take the damn criticism

Re: A question for the anti-Kerry brigade

That argument is as flimsy as saying that it's none of americas business how Osama goes to war so they should stay out of it. It's CRAP! If your actions affect other people it makes it their business.

Oh really?

http://www.veteransunitedforkerry.com/vote/index.php

I'm a Gulf-war veteran. My brother is also. My father-in-law is a Vietnam veteran. We're all voting for Kerry.

My father isn't voting for Kerry, but then again, he's a rich finance executive.

You post a biased link saying Vets support kerry?

How about a link from a known left-wing media machine supporting the fact that Vets favor Bush?http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/...in621136.shtml

LOL

I'm a vet, and I know people that are vets.

When you said "They don't seem to like kerry very much. Not many Vets do." You presumed to speak for vets. Well, most vets that I know of personally, are NOT voting for Bush, regardless of what some poll says.

I'll believe the polls when I get asked to vote in one. Certainly no one asked this vet, who he's voting for.

Also, you revile CBS for their stupid forged documents one second, yet claim their numbers for back-up, when it supports you...love 'em or hate 'em, which one is it?

Any vet who would vote for Kerry is twisted... The man has been honored in the Ho Chi Min museum as a hero for his lying in front of congress in 1971 about attrocities he "both witnessed and participated in" which helped the communist NVA win. How sick does it make you to know that our prisoners who were held in the "Hanoi-Hilton" were allowed to hear only one radio broadcast from the U.S. the entire time they were in captivity, Kerry's testimony. That turned them, in the eyes of their captors, from POWs to war-criminals in one fell swoop. If that doesn't infuriate you then you are sick in the head.
I'm a combat vet who, although not a big fan of Bush's spending record, would rather see someone in the white house that at least sticks to a position for more than 1 day.
Kerry has been an irrelevent senator (missed almost HALF of votes on the floor) who has been a politcal opportunist all of his adult life. Spending 4 months "in country" then coming back and telling lies, tossing medals over the white house fence, protesting in marches, and writing exagerration-filled books about your exploits Winter Soldier doesn't make one a viable presidential candidate in my book. And his scumbag wife cannot buy class no matter how much money she has. Bush has plenty of his own faults but to me he is the lesser of 2 evils.
So the rest of the world hates him? Big-fucking-deal! Since when do we have to ask permission to do anything? Since when do we have to apologise for protecting our interest? When did we start hating ourselves for being so successful? Yes, we carry a very big stick but we are pretty benign to the world as a whole.
I pushed the thread-starter on why he was so against our war with Iraq, he replied "This war will endanger my family". A cheesemaker in New Zealand is "endangered" by our war with terrorism...
Somebody needs to get off of the computer, go outside and smell the flowers, and thank GOD someone in this world has the guts to fight terrorists and the countries that support them because the feckless U.N and Annan surely haven't done a damn thing to stop them. Just look at reports from the Sudan and the UN response (or lack of it) and tell me they are willing or able to stop the genocide!

Libs?

Just because I'm not voting for the bumbling idiot that wasted mine and your money, I'm a lib?

I voted for him in the last election, and Dole before him, and Bush Sr. before that, so I can speak-up as much as I want.

Lib?

I have owned, and fired more weapons than your internet toughness can probably imagine.

I grew-up in a well-off, Republican home, and left it all (I have EARNED everything I have) to join the Air Force, what have YOU done lately?

I've been working since I was 12years old. Started mowing lawns when my Grandfather helped me get started. After that, I spent everday after school, every spring break, every saturday working at my Dads car dealership. After high school I worked for a roofing company for 2 1/2 years then worked for an up-scale home remodeling company and now I'm a lithographer where I've worked for the last 8 1/2 years working 6-7 days a week for months at a time. I'm married, have a 2 year old daughter and our son is due next month, live in a nice house in a nice area, new car in the garage for the wife next to my GN and a little money in the bank and yes, I too, have earned everything I have. As far as "internet toughness", I don't see where you get the idea I was acting tough but, if it makes you happy, I also have a few guns but don't really see what that matters.

I'm sorry if I offended you in some way, I was just sharing my views like everyone else here, but for what it's worth, I thank you for your service in the military. My father-in-law was a pilot in the Navy.

Turd2000, no I don't know anyone, personally, that has been injured or killed but I didn't know anyone who died on 9/11 either. That doesn't mean I don't feel for my fellow Americans and their families and pray for all of them. BTW, I'm not the one who mentioned the roses.
