might be in wrong section but..

where are you guys hookin up all this nice die cast cars? where can i get some? (1:18 pref.). All we have around here is muscle machines at fred meyer and toys r us. all the hobby shops around here dont have that great of a die cast selection.

I go to a few places around me- Walmart, Kmart, KB Toys, Toys R Us, my local hobby store, and of course Ebay

Ebay is where its at. Either that or use froogle.com to find cheap cars.

awesome...thanks for the info guys i have a couple of die-casts under my belt right now that i modded. a muscle machines skyline, and an RSX.

the skyline i did had a WBK, blitz body kit, and a drifter wing. and the RSX was made into a honda integra type-r (including RHD) with a C-West kit with no wing. the skyline got trashed...by my girlfriend who painted it lime green for no reason and blacked out the windows, then...it got taken apart and used for salvage and the RSX....i am currently putting on some fender flairs and scorpion hood.

I suspect you have the muscle machines cars. Just remember that they're much larger than 1:18 scale, probably 1:16.

it says 1:18 on the box? but i thought they seemed a bit bigger than that.
