Re: Yeah...
96-98 ex with b16 and bolt ons would run about the same as any si with bolt ons. i mean its really wierd with si's because ive seen so much deviation in time slips that i no longer know what to think. but id assume youd be in the 15's somewhere depending on your driving skill. a gsr motor definitely be faster, id say 14's but again its dependent on driver almost completely.

the B18C1 would probably run mid 14's with a good driver and bolt ons, but what elevation you at, IM pretty low here and I saw a 6th gen coupe EX with a B18C5 swap and boltons and he was running 14.2 with his rims. and I know a guy wiht a GSR with bolt ons who hit a 14.8 2nd time to the track. and EX w/B16 is basically a SI so about the same times.

14,s?
My mustang (89.5.0,5-speed,lx) Is supposed to run high 14,s. Thats what a GSR would do?? What would I need to do to get high 13's??

a stock 5.0 would never run 14's. and youre in the wrong forum buddy. mustangs are like tampons, every pussy has one.

Re: Re: Re: 14,s?
he actually never says anything about mods on his 5.0 either. he says its an (89.5.0,5-speed,lx) which in my book, with no other description, means it is stock. and i also think he was asking what it would take to make HIS 5.0 (since i assume he doesnt have a second car being a GSR) run 13's, in which case hed be in the wrong forum. get it now?

Actually...
First my mustang is mainly stock It has an electric fan 2 chamber flowmasters and a K&N w/ removed air silencer it should run high 14's w/ tthat. stock mustangs can run 15-15.2 ish. Yeah and By GSR I actually ment a GSR motor in a 96-98 EX civic. wich I should have specified. I am In the right forum becuase I am trying to find out the potential of engine swaps in a civic If it seems like a good cost/performance ratio I might sell my truck and mustang to get one. then I could drive it year round and It should be decent on gas and reliable as well as quick. I think new mustangs are for pussy's too but fox body 5.0s (87-93) aren't really a trendy thing to have any more so most people that own them actually mod them to be fast not just try to look cool. The car every pussy has now would be a civic DX with a pep boys intake/exhuast a ridiculous wing and type R stickers. If I ever bought a honda It will look as stock as possible but have upgraded performance parts.
