tamiya clarion nismo gt-r lm

I'm considering buying this kit, but was looking for some feedback from some people who have assembled it. My questions are:

-How is the quality of the kit overall?

-Are there any fitment problems or any other obstacles you encountered?

-Does is come with an engine?
If not, what kit does come with a RB26DETT?

I've never built that kit (or any other tamiya kit, for that matter) but I've NEVER heard anything bad about fit and finish about Tamiya kits. Unless it was damaged somehow, of course.

It's a good kit with no fit problems but be prepared to do allot of decal work as all the pink area is supplied as decal. You could paint those areas but that color is hard to find.

im not making it as the kit says to, i jus got it as a starter for a project. BTW, i did get it and its beautifully made.

the kit doesnt come with an RB26DETT, but i believe all of the Tamiya R32s have the RB26DETT

RB26DETT is the engine description using Nissan's nomenclature. RB is the series, 26 denotes the size (2.6 litres in this case), DETT denotes (from memory) fuel injection (DE) and twin turbo (TT).

Roger that cyclone1410, so in this case you would get an engine from the R32 cause the clarion nismo is curbside?

RB26DETT

RB = Inline straight 6
26 = Engine capacity to the nearest litre (in this case 2.6L)
D = Dual overhead cam.
E = Fuel injected.
TT = Twin turbo.
