sr20 ,,, try this trick, if you haven't already - take off the mounting ring around the CD player, then cut a med size tie-wrap (or two) into like 1" strips. stuff the strips between the cd player and the metal mounting sleeve. See if that helps with the vibration.

I'm not using the mounting sleeve, the cd player is bolted directly to some brackets in the dash, it's the only way to mount it in my car.

I got a '99 Ford Escort. All stock stereo, 'cept 4 Pyramid 400W 10's in 1 cubic foot sealed boxes pushed by one Legacy 800W amp. Nothin big, works for me. Need to get new EQ (last one broke while moving to AR) to balance out front and rear.

pioneer DEH -P6600
rockford power 5 1/4 front
pioneer 6x9's rear
2 12inch Ma Audio Hard Kore subs
1 4400 RMS Ma Audio mono amp
5 farad Ma Audio capacitor
2 yellow top batteries where spare tire used to be
box is 4 cubic feet per sub and tuned to the reccomended 38Hz (not done with that yet)
repainting car in July, its red now might go with gunmetal grey.
