yes, al, this is what i'm touching on. i think my knowledge is not more than yours, just different. (hehe).

here is a book that will get anyone into the planet that i visit constantly:
"Engineering Graphics" (Giesecke, Mitchell, Spencer, Hill, Loving). i have the 2nd printing of it from 1975. if it still exists, will be in it's tenth printing probably by now. so much is done on CAD nowadays in the engineering field, which often turns people into educated idiots, that there may not be chapters anymore on construction lines for perspective. but i don't see how you can teach this field without having a solid base the old-fashioned way. so try to find the older printings of it. it has loads of info on perspective and geometry. it is as hardcore as you can get.

I'm going to use the grid method as opposed to freehand.

I'm still a n00b to this realistic drawing thing.

Hey, what do you think?

My 2nd time with Grid Method

Tell me what you think.

The size in real life is quite small.

Looks good so far! Make sure you spend time on the wheels to make them look good.

Looks awsome. You have come a long long way from the ancient times of AF when dinosaurs roamed and you did odd cartoony things
