Re: Restrictor

oops, disregard my last post , didnt think i was logged in, yea. I have a 99 grand am se coupe with many of the gt options. I know alot of u are raving and rambling about speeding on the street. But yea, not to offend anyone or anything if it will, my grand am gets to 111 with no problem, but right when i gets to 112 the governor kicks in. I race it alot, well not anymore, cuz my transmission is going bad. But yea, 105-110 is average, and if u want you can have it removed by some performance shops for like $15-20, or u can by a reprogrammer for your ecu and it will remap alot of the "limiters" so you can then rev it at higher rpms (6-7 grand instead of the rev limmiter kicking in) its like 150 bucks for it depending on where u get it from, or 250 for a completely new ecu that redoes alot of the timing in the engine and reduces alot of noc, send me a pm if u want a link for it. Its called a PCL. But yea, i love speed, and although im young (16) i have learned how to controll my car at high speeds also, i've had the break pads repaced 3 times, rotors and calipers once, basically from going into empty parking lots hitting 50-70 mph then turning and pulling the ebrake learning how to do 180s and all that fun stuff, but im not some punk kid that would do it for like a u-turn or anything... Yea if u want any info or anything pm me or im me on aim, enve25543, or just to chat. thats just my 2 cents
