The corvette

vettes are really good with gas if you dont abuse them. Save the abusing for when you need it, for example: street racing

"and are they really that rare in Canada??"

There's 30 million people in Canada and 300 million in the US so that makes a bit of an issue. I'm not even sure VR4's were sold new here..maybe I'm wrong. Same with the 94+ Supra, not sure if it was even sold new here. I look on the autotrader.ca almost every day for a while now and I rarely see those cars.

And as for the RX-7 not being reliable, that's not true. Most people just don't understand them. The RX-7's engine burns oil as part of its running process and needs it a lot more than a regular engine. Ie...oil every 5000km. Fluid inspection. Coolant flushes. Check oil at every few fillups. Some people drive 20,000km's on regular engines that were in need of an oil change and the thing is still running after. There's plenty of high mileage rotary engines out there. 3 moving parts in a rotary with smooth power delivery meaning less wear and tear on it. Less parts need lubrication on a rotary. A RX-7 is going to require a little more upkeep.

If you get a RX-7 though they're in need of a cooling upgrade badly as the heat can be detramental to the reliability of the car.

If you're going to mod an RX-7 consider that the engine demands good tuning or you could have problems, also the stock ECU isn't good for much mods.

I personally wouldn't buy any of them. I'd sell the Parisienne and go buy an '88 Grand National.

I found one for 19,500. Mechanically mint but the body needs help. So i'd rip off the Grand National badges, glue on some Cutlass badges and go pick on Corvettes.

There's my

PS: Hasn't this been done several times already??

The only thing i hate about sleepers is you can hardly ever get people to race you, unless your at the track of course. Hell, people will rarely race my 5.0 unless its either a new mustang or a camaro/trans/vette. But other than that sleepers kick ass!
