Cool - the very first and very last images are new to me.
 I beleive the first photo was taken at the New York Auto Show where BMW display GTR #17R one time - possibly in 2001. >8^) ER

i was at the ny show in 2001 and it was there (i didn't see it, some guy on sc.net saw it), but from what i understand i was tucked away in some corner with some other valuable cars, i saw a pic of it (didn't save it
 ) and from what i remember it wasn't on display like that. I may be wrong though.any idea what the chassis # is on the last car. i think its the same car that tim cottingham has on his 1st page: http://www.cottingham.co.uk/macf1/

I agree with your determination on the last car being the same as that shot from Cottingham's site, however I have no clue on the chassis number. I can tell you this - it's one of the silver ones.

we really need to make a mclaren site as discussed before, and put a big gallery on of every photo, with descriptions and search feature etc.
too many pics scattered around, never find what you want

unless Peloton can scrumage around some of his 5000 pics and post some XP pics we havent seen before Hey btw Peloton, I didnt want to bring back the F1s in Aus thread, but while im here, what colour silver was that wrecked F1 with the unrecognisable to you (NSW sydney) plates..? -Mike

 geez thats bloody incredible. i thought i had a lot with about 1100. ohwell i guess i have a lot more looking to do.Anybody have any tips on how you have found so many pics? I want more

Well, this awesome forum is where I got about 95 percent of my current McLaren F1 pics. I suggest you do what I did when I found this place: go through as many threads as you can. You'll find quite a lot of pics.
