and its not a myth...stand by the exhaust of any zc running on the pg7 and it reaks like gas...its still the best bet besides the zc ecu....but he's not even talking about running in a zc.. he's talking about the a6.

if u cant find a ZC ECU what would u suggest to use? the pm6? or pg7?? because i have the pm6 sitting in my room for when i get the ZC

Re: Quick ? about PG7 ECU

Well I always thought that gutting out the cat. converter would cause too much back pressure but I didnt have a choice because mine was clog with anti-freeze. I probably did loose some tourqe but it makes it a little more zippy and the sound didn't really change. Also, it smokes a little but barely noticeable.

No oil should be getting past the oil rings or at least the compression rings meaning oil will not be in the combustion chamber which is where the fuel is shot into. So if oil and fuel can't contact each other how would it wash anything.

Re: Quick ? about PG7 ECU

..not gonna argue about this...and I'm not saying alot of oil gets up there...but the cylinder walls defintely remain lubricated with oil even after the piston retreats...

..definiltey try to use the pg7 if you cant get the pm7.... the pm6 is just horrible on the zc... I mean, it runs fine... but when you get a pg7 or pm7...the difference is crazy..
