apparently back in late 02 or so mitsu was heavily advertising the 3rd gen eclipses pretty hard and especially to the younger croud. they offered something like no payments and no interest for one full year. so a bunch of young punks got them and now they are all defaulting on their payments. so mitsu is now getting stuck with no money but a bunch of cars that are no longer new. that would be quite the blow to the balls there.

If your talking about that Toyota 5000gt that was in Automobile May 2004. That was a concept, they weren't sure if they're gonna bring it out, and IF they do, it's going to be in $150,000 range. The only reason i can think of that they'd consider bringing it out is to compete with the Ford GT. But like Everyone in the real world is saying, don't expect another supra. The only people who want to ressurect dead names are Ford and GM, which they aren't doing to well at right now.

I dont think the name supra will be on the car, but I do think a new flagship car will come out from toyota. I dont want a new supra or 3000gt. It would most likely be a fuck up on a great name.

Please don't take offense, it just seems like a perfect example to prove why you can't trust everything you see... Just cause it has a toyota symbol on it, or it LOOKS like the old supra does not mean it's a real concept. A lot of people are good at creating images, and editing others. A little legal bit, if you edit an original picture, it's considered freedom of speech, and you are allowed to post it without permission of the original creator, and name it whatever you wish. Unless Toyota states themselves it's coming, then it prolly isn't.
