is that a joke? otherwise i am very confused.

i have seen this topic come up in many different ways many different times and i would put my money on it just being a rumor. from what i hear, mitsubishi is on the verge of bankrupsy (sp?) so there might not even be a 2007 for mitsu.

Re: future 3000GT ?

i don't want the vr4 to come back, leaving it be will make it that more rare and classic. plus they might mess up on it and just mess up the whole 3kgt thing

Re: future 3000GT ?

It's a nice thought, but not happening. This was the topic of another thread, Mitsu offered some concept cars which they offered as 'replacements for the 3000gt'. However, these cars will most likely never hit production. After some thought I'm with youngvr4 on this one...just look how Pontiac
fucked up the return of their GTO...it looks like a Grand Prix.

Well I wasn't going for the "wanna be ferrari look" so its ok. A 4door grocery getter is fine with me.

Any of you have stock time slips? I am interested in your car's 1/8 compared to its 1/4 mile times. Just Vr4s not the slow ones. It would be cool to know what it would trap in the 1/8 and how many mph are gained in the second half of the 1/4.

hey man quit it. Base and SLs are not fast ass cars but there not slow either. they can beat a lot of 4 cylinder cars and v6 so shut your mouth.

Yeah I guess you are right but I am only trying to find out the track times of the VR4s. Wouldn't you be interested in how the times break down 1/8, 1/4, 60', trap speeds?

Re: future 3000GT ?

Jeff, I'll look for my time slips if I still have any from the first time I took my vr4 to the track. I ran a few 14.1s getting used to launching it, then got it down to a 13.59 Don't remember my 60' or other stats off the top of my head, but I'll look for the slips for you.
